The Pen Pal Initiative

Three ways to connect with friends, family and our community.
There's never been a better time to put pen to paper and reach out to someone and say, "I'm thinking about you."
Keep in touch...

Dear Librarian-Everyone knows we love to read and hear the latest news. Include a drawing to post on our Library Art Wall.

Senior Connect-Write to a senior living in our community.  It's a nice way to brighten someone's day. The library will connect interested children and families to a senior living at Woodland Pond in New Paltz.

Flat Stanley Pen Pal Club-If you'd like to "travel" around the world or just around town, registering for a Flat Stanley kit is just the beginning of your expedition. Kits include a Flat Stanley for you to decorate. Send him to family and friends close to home or far away. Where will Stanley end up next? Kits include activities and booklists.

Those participating in any of these pen pal programs will be eligible to receive monthly cardmaking kits.
Email Nicole at nlane@rcls.org to participate.
